Position Description Position Summary The Logistics and Fleet Coordinator will be responsible for providing assistance to all staff on logistic endeavors including, but not limited to all staff events. This position will also oversee the fleet vehicle maintenance plan. This position is working at our Capital Campus location in Harrisburg, PA.
- Maintain and oversee the fleet vehicle maintenance plan
- Serve as the travel logistics contact including making transportation and hotel reservations
- Make and maintain decisions made on travel issues
- Communicate with the Accountant on any decisions made on travel issues
- Establish and maintain relationships with recommended vendors for staff events
- Assist management on staff event arrangements and securing vendors
- Negotiate recommended rates for hotels and rental vehicles across the state
- Maintain logistic-related contracts in system
- Coordinate logistic needs for travel events
- Provide any necessary expense documentation to the Accountant
- Ensure financial stewardship over travel expenses
- Monitor compliance with the travel guidelines
- Provide ad hoc reporting assistance to management
- Other administrative duties as assigned

Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and other technology.
Physical Demands This is largely a sedentary role. Requires the ability to lift, squat, sit, bend or stand as necessary. Ability to travel to other sites/locations as needed.
Position Type Travel - Travel may be required for this position.
Education and Experience - High School diploma required
- Bachelors in logistics, business, or related field preferred
- Prior logistics experience a plus
Additional Eligibility Qualifications - Valid PA driver's license & appropriate auto insurance coverage
- Updated clearances as required by Pa for school employment
