Job Description

This role supports the Marketing & Social Media department at the Kia Forum & Intuit Dome with tasks related to marketing, social media and partnership fulfillment. This position will report into the Vice President, Concerts & Special Events Marketing.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

  • Assist with social media management & coverage across all social platforms. This includes creating copy & content, social media calendar management, and all aspects relating to the Kia Forum & Intuit Dome social media profiles. Responsible for social media event night coverage as well as show announcements.
  • Assist Marketing Partnerships with marketing support and brand campaign fulfillment.
  • Work with creative agency to get any necessary artwork/assets created.
  • Participate in creative brainstorms to help deliver a unique experience to both the fan and artist.
  • Liaise with vendors (from printing companies to creative agency) to help execute and fulfill marketing-related special projects.
  • Manage various project installs and share schedules with event managers, operations department, and necessary parties to ensure all tasks are executed.
  • Create marketing recaps and decks for promoters, partners and for internal needs.
  • Coordinate onsite radio activations prior to/and on show nights – includes instructing/directing, onsite coordination etc.
  • Assist with various publicity and marketing tasks on event nights (such as helping to escort media and VIPs, if needed).
  • Assist with tracking media campaign performance metrics.
  • Responsible for all administrative tasks relating to the Marketing department, including invoicing, scheduling, expenses, etc.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for music, live events and pop culture.
  • Must be well-versed and comfortable using all existing social media platforms and relevant tools.
  • 1-2 years of marketing and/or communications experience, preferably in live events.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of days, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Proven organizational skills in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Creative mindset with an emphasis on generating content and market research.
  • Ability to demonstrate success in managing multiple tasks while under tight deadlines and financial constraints.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Possess exceptional attention to detail and strong follow-up skills necessary.
  • Must have the ability to work independently when necessary and use sound business judgment.
  • Experience in logistics in the live entertainment or similar industry preferred.
  • Experience in performance metrics and/or data reporting preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Power Point, Excel, Word).

Compensation

Target Compensation Range: $27 - $30 per hour, DOE
