Now hiring a qualified LPN / Licensed Practical Nurse with Corrections or related nursing experience in Vandalia, Illinois!

Corrections LPN / Licensed Practical Nurse Pay:

• $19/hour + $1,000 untaxed weekly stipend
• $55/hour overtime
• Local and travel pay packages available.
• Weekly Direct Deposit Every Friday.
• Benefits Available; Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.
• Plus Travel Bonus to the assignment.

Schedule and Timeline:

• 40 hours weekly, 2x 12 hour shifts + 2x 8 hour shifts.
• Anticipated start date: 2-5 weeks from hire.
• 13 week assignment with potential to extend.
• Quick feedback and expedited credentialing process with in-house experts.

Corrections LPN / Licensed Practical Nurse Job Details:

• Examine patients in the correctional environment, evaluate their response to treatment, and monitor their progress.
• Provide mental health and emotional support for inmates and when necessary, refer them to appropriate mental health resources.
• Assisting the Physician/RN with exams and treatments.
• Sick call with a Physician to see inmates.
• Prep inmates to be examined/prep exam room and equipment.
• Pill pass, dispensing medications, and required documentation.
• Control medications and syringes in inventory as required.

Corrections LPN / Licensed Practical Nurse Qualifications:

• IL LPN License in good standing
• BLS certification
• 1+ Years of experience in Corrections/Psychiatric/Emergency Room/Detox
