We are seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Manager to lead our warehouse operations through the deployment of cutting-edge IOT devices, edge computing, network infrastructure and connectivity solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in information technology, particularly in network infrastructure, edge computing, IoT device management, and ability to collaborate with other teams on warehouse layout optimization, and inventory management processes. This role will be crucial in our ability to deploy innovative warehouse automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency, ensure data security, and streamline warehouse activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Network Infrastructure Deployment:
• Ensure deployment and availability of warehouse network design for secure and reliable connectivity of all warehouse automation technologies, (including desktop systems, mobile devices, and IoT equipment.)
• Work with central IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve networking issues to maintain continuous operations.
• IoT Device Installation and Configuration:
• Manage the deployment, configuration and availability of IoT devices (e.g., sensors, RFID tags, scales, cameras, and other devices) to support warehouse operations.
• Monitor and analyze IoT data to enhance operational efficiency and inform decision-making.
• Warehouse Layout and Flow Optimization:
• Assist product team with assessing and redesigning warehouse layouts to improve workflow, reduce travel time, and increase productivity.
• Help product team with data-driven analysis to streamline inventory movement and minimize bottlenecks.
• Inventory Management Process Improvement:
• Assist with the oversight of inventory management systems to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of stock levels.
• Work collaboratively with other warehouse staff on inventory management best practices and train them on warehouse automation technology usage.
• Collaboration and Project Management:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate warehouse projects, ensuring alignment with operational goals.
• Help manage project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently.
• Communicate progress and challenges to senior management and stakeholders.

Skills:

• Proficient in networking hardware and software, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Understanding of data security principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities working collaboratively with other teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with warehouse management best practices and lean methodologies is a plus.
• Experience (or ability to learn) IoT device implementation and management is a plus

You should apply if you possess:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT management, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure design and troubleshooting.
• Experience with IoT technologies and deployment.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and software (e.g., WMS, ERP systems).
• Excellent project management skills, with a proven ability to lead teams and projects successfully.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
