The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Engineer to optimize manufacturing operations and drive continuous improvement at our production facility. This role required advanced knowledge of Arena Simulation for modeling, analysis, optimization of manufacturing systems and workflows. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lean manufacturing, process improvement, and capacity planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product flow.
  • Develop and implement simulation models in Arena Simulation Software to evaluate and optimize production line performance, resource utilization, and layout configurations.
  • Collect and interpret data to support simulation input parameters and validate model accuracy through real- world comparisons.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, maintenance, logistics, processes engineers ) to implement process improvements based on simulation insights.
  • Lead time studies, work measurement, and bottleneck analysis to inform operational decisions.
  • Support facility layout planning, capacity analysis, and equipment selection for new or modified production lines.
  • Document simulation models, findings and recommendations in technical reports and present to upper management.
  • Promote continuous improvement through Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen initiatives.
  • Assist with implementation of automation and digital tools for smart manufacturing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment.
  • Proficient in ARENA SIMULATION SOFTWARE
  • Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles, value stream mapping and process analysis.
  • Proficient in Excel, AutoCAD, and ERP/ MES systems.

Preferred:

  • Experience in automotive or high-performance component manufacturing
  • Knowledge of time study software or statistical analysis tools.
  • Six Sigma certification ( green or black)
  • Knowledge of ISO/ TS 16949 and IATF 16949 standards.
