Job Description

Landmark Hospitality is looking for a passionate Event Stylist (Wedding & Event Sales Manager) to join our NJ team!

Landmark Hospitality is a leader in the hospitality industry, that owns and operates unique and iconic venues such as the Liberty House, Hudson House, Stone House, the Ryland Inn, Village Hall, Farmhouse and Felina in New Jersey. We also have operate iconic, unique venues in Pennsylvania such as Hotel Du Village, the Logan Inn, and Durham Springs. Landmark Hospitality specializes in upscale restaurants, event spaces, and boutique hotels that are growing and have exciting opportunities available for individuals who are passionate about creating memories for our guests.

We are currently looking for Event Sales Managers in multiple locations in New Jersey. If you have experience in Event Sales, Event Planning, or additional qualifications that make you suitable for this role, we encourage you to apply!

We are seeking applicants who have experience with all steps in meeting clients, menu development, and follow through. The ability to work in a high-volume and fast-paced environment as well as being a true hospitality professional is essential. Experience with working with prospective brides and corporate clientele is a major plus.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILL

  • Must have 5+ years Event selling experience in a upscale, fine dining event spaces
  • Must be passionate about event selling and hospitality
  • Must have experience and/or knowledge of event management driven software such as Tripleseat
  • Must be proficient in MS Office (word, excel, etc)
  • Personable demeanor and ability to deliver memory-making hospitable service
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Sales skills and ability to build productive business relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently
  • Ability to communicate effectively and eloquently
  • Ability to work with and collaborate effectively with third party vendors to execute events per the client
  • Professional demeanor, polished appearance with the ability to exceed guest's expectations
  • Ability to work in an ever-changing environment
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Strong work ethic and client-focused approach
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be passionate and dedicated to success

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Meet with potential clients and gather information for their special day
  • Showcase the event spaces and provide venue information so the guest is enticed and envisions their special day with us
  • Plan, design, and produce the event
  • Manage all project delivery elements to ensure all deliverables are met
  • Communicate proactively with clients to identify their needs and to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Conduct market research, gather information and negotiate contracts prior to closing any deals
  • Provide feedback and periodic reports of events to management
  • Ability to lead and manage Event staff to ensure event preparedness and execution
  • Ensure seamless and timely execution on the day of the event
  • Follow up on prospective clientele following appointments to continue engagement
  • Adapt to venue changes, guest needs, and management direction
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Consistently report to scheduled shifts on time
  • Work ethically
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as per business need

Schedule:  Wednesday through Sunday work availability is a must.
