Position Summary
The Houston Branch Manager is responsible for leading field operations, driving technician performance, maintaining branch profitability, and upholding service excellence in accordance with the Natran Core Values. This individual will ensure the branch meets completion, revenue, and margin goals through strong leadership, operational oversight, and collaboration with internal partners. The Branch Manager is accountable for maximizing revenue potential through technician performance, quality execution, and collaboration with Sales and Customer Experience teams.
Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Management
● Directly supervise Field Service Managers and the Specialty Technician Team; responsible for coaching, development, and performance management of these direct reports, including conducting reviews, disciplinary actions, hiring, and terminations.
● Provide oversight of the broader technician team by ensuring alignment with branch expectations, supporting FSM accountability, and driving consistent performance across all field roles
● Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and service excellence through regular presence in the field, including weekly technician ride-along and field quality audits that support coaching, training, and adherence to service standards.
● Serves as key member of Leadership Team and actively participates in and demonstrates a commitment to the Natran Core Values, proactively working on integrating the Values into everyday practices within the Houston Operations Team and company-wide
Operations & Financial Management
● Oversees and manages key operational and financial metrics that drive branch performance, including gross margin, labor efficiency, reschedule rates, and material usage.
● Responsible for ensuring completion targets are met through effective coordination with office teams and oversight of scheduling.
● Oversees Houston Team accountability for key metrics including quoting accuracy, technician readiness, and maintaining consistent service quality across all field operations.
● Manages all escalated customer issues, including but not limited to complaints, cancellations and refunds due to Natran’s performance or negligence.
● Responsible for the direct supervision and the performance management and development of two or more Field Service Managers, up to 6 Specialty Technicians and oversees a team of up to 30 Technicians (Apprentices, Standard and Master); may fill in as needed for the Austin Branch Manager and/or President occasionally as needed or requested
Education and Experience:
● Current Texas Certified Applicator license , or ability to obtain within 30 days
○ Termite category or ability to obtain within 6 months
○ Lawn & Ornamental (L&O) or ability to obtain within 12 months
● Prior pest control experience sufficient to qualify for CA licensure
● 3+ years demonstrated experience leading field teams in pest control or trade-related services
● Strong communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills
● Must have valid TX driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
● Must be able to be fit for respirator in accordance with OSHA regulations

● Proficient with mobile/tablet use for field operations
● Capable of operating company vehicles and pest control equipment (B&G sprayers, FloZones, foggers, etc.)
Physical Demands
Frequently required to stand, walk, crouch, bend and stoop on irregular surfaces in an outdoor environment; frequently required to sit while driving; frequently required to , reach overhead, lift, move, and push various materials, product and equipment either up to 50 lbs; High level of manual dexterity to use hands and fingers to grasp, manipulate and operate a variety of materials, tools and machinery; Regular exposure to moderate noise levels when operating equipment; May be required to use ladders or step stools or use mechanical lifts; Complex communication, thinking, and analysis required. Visual acuity level is required to operate vehicles, read chemical labels and operate computers/phones/tablets regularly.
Work Environment
Generally, works in a combination of a standard office environment and outdoor environments with exposure to all types of weather including heat, cold, rain and humidity while in the field. Will be required to spend time in a vehicle traveling from location to location regularly. Will be regularly exposed to chemicals which are handled, stored, mixed, and used in accordance with label requirements. Will be required to work in a variety of environments, both indoors and outdoors while on-site at customer locations. Regular (approximately XX%) local travel is required.
