Job Description

The Warehouse Assistant helps implement, coordinate, transport, and execute all warehouse needs regarding orders and project needs.

Core Responsibilities:

· Ability to drive a delivery vehicle under all kinds of conditions (heavy traffic, weather, dense cities, etc.)

· Ability to operate, and certification if necessary, any relevant warehouse equipment such as a forklift or pallet jack, and use a ladder up to 12 ft.

· Sorts, organizes, and prepares materials for project needs

· Ability to process paperwork and receive/return shipments

· Ability to problem solve, multi-task and plan.

· Communicate accurate inventory

· Strong computer skills (Excel, Word) and understanding of company systems (Filemaker, Wrike)

· Work closely with the warehouse manager and stay ahead of schedule and support project needs

· Check in deliveries, labeling, and ensuring accurate documentation

· Must possess a good driving record, have a current drivers license, and be a licensed driver for a minimum of 5 years

Position Requirements:

· Versed in the safety aspects of material handling and proper lifting

· Ability to sit stand, reach, crouch, climb for extended periods of time; ability to lift up to 75lbs.

· Willingness to be self-managed and assume responsibility.

· Must be able to work in a warehouse environment (varied temps, sometimes loud, etc, stand on concrete for extended periods of time)

· Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees of the organization; basic math skills

· Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

· An interest in learning or has already a basic knowledge of the A/V industry is a strong plus.

· 1-3 year of experience in a warehouse, inventory, or logistics support role, preferably in the electrical, data, security, or construction industry.

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred
