POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is an entry-level position responsible for managing daily operations within the Talent Acquisition department, focusing on recruitment processes and administrative tasks. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start their career in Human Resources, providing hands-on experience in recruitment coordination and compliance while delivering exceptional service to candidates and internal stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will:

  • Provide exemplary customer service, addressing candidate and internal manager inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate candidate visits to the Employment Center, assisting with applications and providing necessary support.
  • Track candidate progress and maintain detailed records in the applicant tracking system (Workday) to facilitate effective communication and decision-making.
  • Manage the Talent Acquisition email Inbox to ensure timely job postings and responses to hiring managers.
  • Handle Human Resources phone inquiries from candidates and employees, providing accurate information and guidance.
  • Maintain accurate interview and hiring records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Represent the organization at job fairs and career events to attract potential candidates.
  • Assist in special recruitment projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and stay updated on regulatory changes.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Manager and department leaders to schedule interviews and facilitate smooth onboarding processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the Talent Acquisition team and organizational goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and commitment to confidentiality.
  • Basic knowledge of employment laws and regulations is a plus but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or related software.
  • Familiarity with HRIS, payroll, and benefits, or the ability to learn quickly.
  • Strong record-keeping and documentation skills.
  • Effective decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
  • No prior HR experience is necessary; however, internships or exposure to HR functions will be considered a plus.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required to read and interpret documents, instructions, and manuals, as well as to communicate effectively.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
