Support Engineer - Citrix, VMware, VDI technologies

Full Time

• Engage with end users to gather requirements and ensure configurations meet business needs and client standards. Provide engineering expertise for both physical and virtual desktop environments.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, standards, and operational procedures. Create and manage corporate images, deployment strategies, and monitoring tools. Package, test, and deploy system and application updates and patches.
• Administer and support physical and virtual infrastructure, including VDI. Evaluate and test new hardware and software for enterprise readiness.
• Provide Tier 3 escalation support, including MFA and endpoint security issues. Plan and implement upgrades and rollouts using enterprise management tools.
• Define and drive the vision for the EUC environment, incorporating emerging technologies. Support and manage enterprise print services. Lead technical projects and ensure timely, within-budget delivery.
• Research and recommend tools and technologies to support business initiatives. Automate routine tasks to improve operational efficiency. Adhere to Change and Problem Management processes.
• Mentor junior team members and provide training on tools and systems. Provide on-call support, including nights and weekends, and travel as required. Deliver high-touch customer service and effective problem resolution.
