Job Description

Relate Search has been retained by a growing industrial manufacturer to add an experienced Director of Supply Chain to their leadership team. In this high-impact role, you’ll oversee a multi-site supply chain team, create and execute strategy, and lead efforts to optimize planning, sourcing, logistics, and cost control. Responsibilities:

• Own the full supply chain function, including planning, sourcing, inventory, purchasing, and logistics (freight costs, tariffs, global tracking)

• Lead and develop a high-performing, multi-site team through hiring, mentorship, and continuous development

• Create and implement global commodity and supply chain strategies aligned with business goals

• Develop and execute sourcing policies, standards, and supplier performance metrics

• Deliver year-over-year material cost productivity improvements while supporting business growth

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred

• 8+ years of supply chain experience in global manufacturing or a related industry

• 5+ years of supply chain leadership, preferably in multi-site or international environments

• Strong financial and analytical acumen, particularly in sourcing and cost management

• Deep experience with enterprise software systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards) and supplier integration
