Working under direct supervision, responsible and accountable for all activities and competencies related to sterile processing. Ensures that instrumentation and equipment needed for surgery and various medical exams have been sterilized and assembled in accordance with regulatory guidelines and hospital policy. Ensures compliance with all record keeping requirements. Assists with ordering and procuring equipment and instrumentation as needed.
Selected applicants may be hired at the Sterile Processing Tech I, II or III level depending on the candidate's qualification and experience.
These five (5) open positions are for the following schedule: 3 NOC Shifts (10pm to 630am), 1 Evening shift (2pm to 1030pm), and 1 Day shift (6am to 230pm). Other schedule details will be discussed with the final selected candidates during the interview stage.
Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range: $54,413 - $68,006 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $26.06 - $32.57
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
