Service Manager / Senior Service Technician/ Customer Support Manager required to join a leading supplier of industrial pumps based in Georgia.
The Successful Service Manager / Senior Service Technician/ Customer Support Manager will managing rental equipment and leading a team of service technicians and sub-contractors serving the food and beverage, wastewater / water working heavily looking at various pumps systems, valves, actuators, pipework, hydraulics and associated clean & wastewater products
The ideal Service Manager / Senior Service Technician/ Customer Support Manager will have management or supervisory experience in engineering, with a background in fluid power, pumps, valves, hydraulics, pipework or similar equipment. This role is a travel heavy role as there is a requirement to visit customer sites as when necessary.

Service Manager / Senior Service Technician/ Customer Support Manager Role

• For the first year at least, this role with have hands on requirement.
• Monitor the daily completion of tasks, ensuring deadlines are met for services and repairs.
• Manage a team working on rotating equipment, pumps, valves, motors, pipes & PLC’s
• Create and manage a Rental Preventative Maintenance schedule
• Collaborate on advanced pump technologies from industry-leading brands worldwide.
• Assist in the hiring of future candidates.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and respond to customers’ requests and inquiries.
• Liaise with various engineering departments.
Service Manager / Senior Service Technician/ Customer Support Manager Requirements
Experience as a Service Manager / Customer Support Manager / Rentals Manager Engineering Manager, Service Manager, Service Supervisor, Pump Engineer, Installation Manager, Operations Manager or similar in engineering.
• Knowledge of various types of pump, valve, pipework and PLC applications
Management or supervisory experience in engineering, with a background in fluid power, pumps, or related products such as valves, pies and PLC’s
• A want for change management and a drive to progress into higher management after this position.
• Based near site in Covington, GA, with flexibility to travel the US.
