Are you an experienced RPG developer ready to tackle complex enterprise-level systems in a collaborative, fast-paced environment? Join our technology team in Keller, Texas , where your expertise in IBM i platform development will directly support mission-critical operations.

🔍 Position Summary

As an RPG Developer III , you’ll serve as a senior contributor in our development team, building and maintaining in-house applications using RPG (all levels), CL/CLLE, and Websmart technologies on the IBMi platform. You'll partner with business analysts and stakeholders to turn business needs into scalable technical solutions while mentoring junior team members and advancing best practices.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain in-house applications using RPG, CLLE, Websmart (HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, CSS).
  • Work on large-scale projects and enhancements with cross-functional teams.
  • Utilize advanced IBMi techniques: binding directories, binder source, service programs, sub-procedures.
  • Optimize performance with data-centric design, embedded SQL, and stored procedures.
  • Manage application errors, provide escalation support, and collaborate with support and training teams.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to documentation, templates, and training materials.
  • Research emerging technologies and assess their potential business value.

📚 Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on RPG development across multiple high-complexity projects.
  • Proficient in:
  • RPG (all levels), CL/CLLE on IBMi
  • DB2 (SQL, SEQUEL, performance tuning)
  • Embedded SQL, stored procedures, APIs, and service programs
  • Working knowledge of Websmart, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
  • Familiarity with FTP/SFTP, XML.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • Experience in financial services or mortgage servicing is a strong plus.
