We are working closely with a well-regarded boutique law firm that is seeking a junior to mid-level associate to join its nationally ranked renewable energy practice based in Washington, DC. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside industry-leading attorneys on cutting-edge renewable energy projects across the country.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of relevant experience, including drafting and negotiating project development and financing documents. This includes power purchase agreements (PPAs), engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts, and other key commercial arrangements such as supply and interconnection agreements. Experience with a variety of renewable and clean energy technologies—such as solar, wind, battery storage, and hydrogen—is preferred. Candidates should also have a strong understanding of the broader regulatory and commercial landscape impacting energy transactions.
