Real Estate Development Manager Location Miami, FL :

Fast-growing real estate development firm based in Miami, specializing in mixed-use, or projects across South Florida. Our mission is to shape vibrant, sustainable communities through innovative design, responsible planning, and long-term value creation.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Development Manager to lead the planning and execution of real estate projects throughout Miami and the surrounding region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate development, project management, and financial analysis, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Oversight: Manage development projects from acquisition through entitlement, design, permitting, construction, and stabilization.
  • Due Diligence: Lead site feasibility studies, zoning analysis, title review, and environmental assessments.
  • Financial Modeling: Build and maintain pro forma financial models; track project budgets and cash flow.
  • Entitlements & Approvals: Coordinate entitlement processes, rezoning, and permits with municipal agencies and consultants.
  • Design Management: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and planners to guide project design and value engineering.
  • Construction Coordination: Work closely with internal construction teams or third-party GCs to monitor timelines, budgets, and quality.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Interface with city officials, community stakeholders, legal teams, and capital partners.
  • Reporting: Prepare project updates and investment committee presentations for executive leadership and investors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Real estate, Finance, Architecture, Urban Planning, , or related field; MBA or MRED a plus.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in real estate development or project management.
  • Strong understanding of Miami zoning, entitlement processes, and permitting landscape.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel , financial modeling, and budgeting.
  • Experience with project management tools (Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Spanish fluency a plus but not required.
