Job Description

A Community Manager is the CEO of the community they manage. The manager will lead the team in meeting all property objectives to ensure satisfaction to our residents, team members and owners. Our brand is our reputation. As the Community Manager, you are a critical part of cultivating and representing our brand.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Train, mentor and provide leadership to all team members to support the goals of the company, property and team members
  • Coordinate and direct the activities of all team members to achieve daily, weekly, monthly and annual property goals
  • Help develop and manage to the annual property budget ensuring financial performance
  • Evaluate and manage all property advertising and marketing campaigns to ensure they align with meeting property goals
  • Maintain depth and knowledge of local market competition and macro market performance
  • Build, manage, and grow online and offline communities (e.g., social media platforms, forums, and events).
  • Develop and manage content for community channels, including social media posts, blogs, newsletters, and promotional materials.
  • Plan and organize community events and meetups to foster engagement and growth.
  • Address resident inquiries and concerns in a timely and empathetic manner, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Work with marketing, product, and customer support teams to align community initiatives with overall business goals.
  • Through the eyes of our residents and owners maintain curb appeal pursuant to the standards of BTR Haus brand.

Ideal Experience:

  • Ability to build trust with residents and an environment they feel safe and proud to call home
  • 2+ years of experience in property management, preferably in a “Luxury Lease-Up” environment.
  • Financial acumen with experience managing to a P&L statement
  • Desire to provide great customer outcomes
  • An eye for detail- Our properties and team members are representing the brand
  • Proficient with computers and various software platforms including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Experience with Yardi is a plus
  • Can do attitude- Willingness to take on various roles as may be necessary to achieve property goals
  • Availability at night and on weekends at various times during the year
  • Reliable transportation to get to work daily and to conduct daily job responsibilities
