Job Description

The Pee Dee Community Action Partnership Company is seeking a detail-oriented, language-loving Remote Proofreader to ensure all written content — from websites and marketing materials to client reports and UX copy — is polished, professional, and consistent with our brand voice. You will work closely with designers, writers, and project managers to maintain high-quality standards across all deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:
Proofread a variety of digital and print content for grammar, punctuation, spelling, syntax, and consistency.
Review copy for clarity, tone, and brand alignment.
Ensure adherence to style guides (AP Style, Chicago Manual of Style, or internal brand guidelines).
Collaborate with writers and editors to resolve content issues and suggest improvements.
Meet deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Offer light copyediting when necessary to enhance readability and flow.
Maintain version control and accurate documentation for editorial updates.
