🔧 What You’ll Do

• Validate engineering designs for compliance and risk management regarding hazardous materials and dusts.
• Clearly communicate risk findings and propose mitigation strategies to leadership and stakeholders.
• Collaborate across teams to identify potential hazards early in the design process.
• Lead safety prioritization efforts in factory design with actionable guidance for internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and implement engineering safety and hazard mitigation strategies aligned with company risk management protocols.
• Facilitate risk assessments including HAZOP, LOPA, PHA, and DHA, working closely with operations, safety, and environmental teams.
• Lead scenario modeling using tools such as PHAST or iPRSM to inform data-driven decisions.
• Support Facility Siting efforts with dispersion and explosion modeling.
• Ensure safety measures are fully integrated into final engineering designs through active coordination.

✅ What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, battery manufacturing, or semiconductor industries.
• Experience applying PSM (Process Safety Management) engineering requirements.
• Strong collaboration skills with operations, EHS, and engineering functions.
• Working knowledge of safety analysis methodologies (HAZOP, PHA, DHA).
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Bonus: Familiarity with dispersion modeling, flammability analysis, consequence modeling, combustible dust hazards, or reactive hazard analyses.
