We have an immediate opening at Peterson Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram for a General Manager with proven success.

If you have successfully managed a high-volume automotive dealership in the General Sales Manager, General Manager or Service Manager capacities, you should apply.

Qualifications:

• Managers are required to maintain the profitability of their departments while controlling expenses and maintaining customer satisfaction. 
• Management personnel require strong communication skills to deal with customers, employees and vendors while representing the dealership. 

Responsibilities :

• Operations Management: Oversee daily operations of the dealership, including sales, service, finance, and administration.
• Sales Performance: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets and drive profitability. Monitor sales metrics and coach the sales team to improve performance.
• Staff Management : Hire, train, and manage dealership staff, including salespeople, service technicians, and administrative personnel. Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate professional   development.
• Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction. Address customer complaints and inquiries effectively to maintain a positive reputation.
• Financial Oversight: Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Ensure the dealership operates within financial guidelines and meets profit margins.
• Inventory Management : Oversee vehicle inventory levels and coordinate with manufacturers or wholesalers to ensure the dealership is adequately stocked with a desirable selection of vehicles.
• Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop advertising and promotional campaigns to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
• Compliance and Regulations: Ensure the dealership complies with legal regulations and dealership policies, including financial compliance and ethical practices.
• Networking and Partnerships : Build relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, financial institutions, and the local community to enhance the dealership's offerings and reputation.
