We are seeking a senior-level Microsoft 365 & Azure Systems Administrator to oversee and optimize our Microsoft cloud ecosystem. This is a full-time, onsite role based in Carrollton, TX, with working hours of Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. The role demands advanced expertise in Azure administration, Microsoft 365 services, and enterprise security within a regulated industry.

You will support enterprise identity and access management, cloud operations, and collaboration platforms—working alongside cross-functional teams in Security, Infrastructure, DevOps, and Support. This high-impact role supports technology operations across a large, distributed environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Azure Administration:

• Deploy and manage core Azure services: VMs, networking, storage, resource groups, and subscriptions.
• Maintain hybrid infrastructure integrations using AAD Connect and Active Directory.
• Implement secure access using network controls (NSGs, firewalls, VPN).
• Automate cloud operations using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or templates.
• Optimize infrastructure for scale, availability, and cost.
• Apply governance through access controls, tagging, and usage policies.

Microsoft 365 Administration:

• Administer and support Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Manage mobile and device policies using endpoint management tools.
• Enforce secure collaboration practices through access and data controls.
• Oversee compliance and configuration of the Microsoft 365 application suite.
• Triage complex issues related to identity, access, and productivity tools.

Security & Operational Compliance:

• Ensure cloud environments align with internal security policies and industry standards.
• Conduct risk assessments, respond to incidents, and implement remediation.
• Maintain system documentation and support internal audits.

Collaboration & Strategic Support:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure goals.
• Support license forecasting and environmental health.
• Contribute to long-term roadmap planning and operational maturity.
• Mentor peers and demonstrate technical leadership.

Skills and Qualifications:
Required:

• 5+ years of experience managing Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
• Experience supporting 500+ users across multi-site or cloud-first organizations.
• Proficient in:
  • Azure AD, VMs, VNets, access controls, and automation.
  • Microsoft 365 suite (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, OneDrive).
  • Scripting with PowerShell and CLI for automation.
  • Strong knowledge of identity management, access control, and cloud governance.
  • Familiarity with operational and regulatory security practices.

Preferred:

• Microsoft certifications such as:
  • AZ-104 – Azure Administrator Associate.
  • MS-102 – Microsoft 365 Administrator.
  • SC-300 / SC-400 – Security or Information Protection Administrator.
• Experience with cloud automation frameworks or APIs.
• Background in healthcare, finance, or similarly regulated environments.
