Employment Solutions is partnering with a successful aerospace manufacturing company to hire a Senior Design Enginee r for a hybrid position = in Endicott, NY. This is a direct hire, full-time position with outstanding benefits!

Salary range: $90K-120K

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Solve complex engineering problems
• Lead the design and development of aerospace and defense systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications.
• Work with cross-functional team sto define design requirements
• Design calculations, analysis,and simulations to ensure the functionality, safety, and durability of products.
• Manage and review design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and test plans.
• Oversee the prototyping and testing phases

REQUIREMENTS

• BS Degree or Master’s in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related
• 5+ years of experience in design engineering, preferably within aerospace and defense sectors.
• Expertise in mechanical design,analysis, and testing for aerospace or defense applications.
• Proficiency with design and analysis tools(e.g., CAD software, FEA, simulation tools).
• Experience with brazing or other advanced manufacturing techniques preferred.
• Knowledge of aerospace and defense regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Familiarity with materials science and selection processes for aerospace applications
