Fulfill MOs coming from the planning in order of the production dispatch, ensure inventory cards are updated with the correct count as MOs are being pulled. Issue in operating system the components that have been pulled to the MO to keep inventory accuracy current. Work with the production supervisors to ensure the shop stays loaded. Complete cycle counts and year end inventory counts. The ability to drive the company truck to drop off and pick up and pass all requirements to drive company vehicle.

Specific Duties:

• Pull components for MOs
• Ensure all MO paperwork is checked off according to training.
• Issue all components pulled and stage to be assembled
• Deliver completed fully issued MOs to their next operation to be assembled
• Deliver & pick up to and from outside processing services
• Communicate all inventory issues to the Supply Chain Coordinator
• Provide assistance to other departments as needed, ensuring efficient material flow and minimal production delays.
• Work closely with the production team to ensure materials are available as required for fabrication and machine operations.
• Other duties as signed

Truck Driving and Deliveries:

• Drive a 1-ton truck to deliver materials and parts to internal departments and external locations as required.
• Ensure timely deliveries and pickup of materials to meet production schedules and customer needs.

Safety and Compliance:

• Follow all safety protocols when operating forklifts, driving trucks, and handling materials.
• Ensure a clean and organized work area in compliance with company safety and quality standards.
• Participate in safety training and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role in a manufacturing environment. 5 to 7 years of experience.

Certifications, Licenses & Registration:

• Forklift certification (required).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Must possess a strong attention to detail
• Should be able to document material and parts receipts accurately.
• Basic math skills for measuring and checking materials.

Physical Demands

• Lift and move heavy materials and parts up to 50 pounds or more
• Spend extended periods standing/walking
• Use hands for grasping, reaching and manipulation tools
• Other physical demands may include: climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling
