Litigation Attorney

Location: Peoria, IL (Hybrid/Remote due to in-person court appearances)

Note: Candidates must currently reside within commutable distance to Peoria, IL and employer paid relocation or 100% remote is not an option for this role.

Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic, driven, and talented Litigation Attorney to join our team and handle challenging, high-impact cases in family law and civil litigation throughout Central Illinois. This role is ideal for a motivated attorney with 3+ years of experience who is seeking the following opportunities in their next role:

  • Expand their skills and expertise – Work on a diverse range of cases in family law and civil litigation while developing new areas of expertise.
  • Take ownership of their cases – Manage cases from start to finish, making strategic decisions and guiding clients through the legal process.
  • Make a meaningful difference for clients – Advocate for clients in high-impact matters, helping them achieve outcomes that truly matter.
  • Navigate complex cases – Tackle challenging legal matters, analyze intricate issues, and develop effective solutions.
  • Refine your litigation strategy – Strengthen your courtroom and negotiation skills by crafting tailored strategies for each case.
  • Build and expand your expertise – Broaden your knowledge across multiple practice areas, gaining expertise that will advance your professional growth.

This opportunity offers the flexibility of hybrid ( primarily remote) work while still providing regular in-person appearances for hearings and trials . To support this hybrid work balance, the following accommodations are in place:

  • Up to 1.5 hours of travel per week , with slightly more frequent appearances at times
  • All travel expenses are reimbursed, and travel time is billable

Required Qualifications

  • Active and current license to practice law i n the State of Illinois ( in good standin g)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in family law and/or civil litigation
  • Strong written and oral advocacy skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality legal services and client care

What We Offer

  • Reasonable hours and billing requirements
  • Performance-based bonuses
  • Starting pay: $100,000 – $150,000, based on experience and production
  • 15 days PTO plus personal days
  • Group health insurance (50% employer-paid premiums)
  • 401(k) with 3% employer contribution after one year
