A D.C. Law Firm is seeking a Litigation Assistant. The Litigation Assistant provides administrative and support for attorneys and paralegals in the litigation group. This role includes case and calendar management, legal document preparation, discovery coordination, trial preparation, and client communication. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities while collaborating effectively with legal professionals, clients, and third parties. This is a full-time position with a standard 7.5-hour workday. Must work in-office Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime may be required and will be compensated in accordance with firm policy.
Status: Direct Hire
Salary: $60K-65K
Duties and Responsibilities:
Administrative and Calendar Support
· Arrange logistics for meetings, interviews, depositions, and trial, including travel, accommodations, working space, supplies, meals, files, witness materials, and other support required by attorneys.
· Maintain calendars showing all deadlines for each case including deadline-assistant software.
Litigation and Case Management
Legal Document Preparation
Investigations, Discovery and Trial Preparation
Client Communication and Administrative Tasks
