No C2C - IT Project Manager - No C2C

Location : Metro-Detroit (Hybrid)

Type: 6 Month Contract to Hire

Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to oversee multiple projects across various clients, focusing on Help Desk and Infrastructure projects. This role involves managing projects with an emphasis on Lean and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management : Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
• Stakeholder Engagement : Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management, to ensure project alignment with business goals.
• Methodologies : Utilize Lean and Agile project management principles to enhance project delivery efficiency and flexibility.
• Team Leadership : Guide, motivate, and coordinate cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and accountability.
• Risk Management : Identify potential risks early, develop mitigation strategies, and manage changes to keep projects on track.
• Quality Assurance : Oversee project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience in managing IT projects, particularly in Help Desk and Infrastructure areas. Must have experience handling multiple projects simultaneously for different clients.
• Methodology : Strong knowledge of Lean and Agile methodologies with practical application experience. Jira and Kanban.
• MSP Experience : Experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment is highly desirable but not mandatory.

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent experience.

Skills : Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Proficient in project management tools like JIRA, MS Project, or similar.

Work Environment : Hybrid role, requiring some days in the office located in Metro-Detroit, with flexibility for remote work.

Contract Details: Initial 6-month contract with the potential for permanent hire based on performance and business needs.
