Looking for candidates with solid experience within the Banking/Financial Services industry. Prior experience with the Jack Henry suite of products/applications is strongly preferred for this role.

The IT Applications Manager will oversee the management, maintenance, and optimization of the software applications and data systems. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of the technology infrastructure, supporting both internal operations and customer-facing services. The successful candidate will lead a team responsible for application support and data integration efforts while collaborating with stakeholders to align technology solutions with business objectives.

1. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
2. Oversee the lifecycle of banking applications, including core banking systems, ensuring applications are updated, secure, and performing optimally
3. Design and implement robust software architectures that support business goals and guarantees scalability, security, and performance of applications
4. Supervise and mentor a team of IT professionals, including application analysts and data specialists. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and foster a collaborative work environment
5. Lead efforts to integrate new existing applications with banking systems, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability across platforms
6. Collaborate with third-party vendors to procure, implement, and support software solutions. Negotiate contracts and ensure service-level agreements (SLAs) are met
7. Plan and manage IT projects related to application upgrades, data migrations, and system enhancements
8. Oversee the development of data-driven insights and reports to support decision-making by senior leadership and operational teams
9. Act as an escalation point for complex application and data issues, ensuring timely resolution to minimize downtime and disruption
10. Work closely with IT leadership, business units, and executives to identify technology needs, recommend solutions, and support digital transformation initiatives

• EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Experience managing banking applications and data systems in a financial institution
• Familiarity with regional banking operations and regulatory requirements
• Experience with application development lifecycle and integration tools
