Industrial Insulation Manager

Role Overview

As the Lead Industrial Insulation Manager, you will guide a team of insulators on industrial and commercial job sites, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. You will be responsible for overseeing installations, mentoring junior team members, and working alongside other trades to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and perform the installation of insulation materials on piping, ductwork, and equipment in industrial and commercial buildings.
• Accurately measure, cut, and apply insulation materials according to specifications and job plans.
• Apply vapor barriers and fire-resistant materials in accordance with safety codes and job requirements.
• Train and supervise junior insulation installers; enforce best practices and job site safety.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals and project managers to coordinate efficient installation.
• Operate and maintain power tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Identify and seal gaps to ensure maximum insulation performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial or commercial insulation experience (pipe, duct, equipment).
• Familiarity with power tools and insulation application techniques.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and blueprints.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work flexible hours.
• Physically capable of working in diverse weather conditions and on active construction sites.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a lead or foreman role.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• OSHA certification or other safety training credentials.
