Housekeeper/Laundry Aide

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper/Laundry aide (dual role)

Housekeepers must have the following:
- Related experience preferred.
- Previous experience working in healthcare industry preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Strong verbal and listening skills.

As a Housekeeper you will:
- Clean residents’ rooms.
- Making sure bathrooms are clean and tidy.
- Sweeping and mopping rooms and bathrooms
- Cleaning and making beds as assigned.
- Cleaning common areas such as, front lobby, nurses’ stations, public bathrooms, offices, etc.
- Assists in room changes as needed.
As a Laundry Aide you will:
- Responsible for collecting, cleaning, and redistributing the community laundry
- Partners with community team to ensure the community is in compliance with OSHA requirements and promotion of Risk Management programs and policies, adherence to safety rules and regulations.
- Practices safety procedures at all times including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), fire extinguishers, MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) and Lockout Tag out procedures
- Team members may be exposed to blood and or body fluids with potential exposure to hazardous materials and infectious diseases.
- Actively participates as a member of a team and is committed to working toward team goals.
- Laundry is responsible for ensuring that units are stocked with clean linens and personal items are washed/passed out to our residents.
- Picking up dirty linens, washing, drying, folding.
- Proper policy and procedures followed.
