Full and part time positions

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper/Laundry aide (dual role) responsible for helping maintain the cleanliness of the facility .

Housekeepers must have the following:

  • Related experience preferred.
  • Previous experience working in healthcare industry preferred.

As a Housekeeper you will:

  • Clean residents’ rooms.
  • Making sure bathrooms are clean and tidy.
  • Sweeping and mopping rooms and bathrooms
  • Cleaning and making beds as assigned.
  • Cleaning common areas such as, front lobby, nurses’ stations, public bathrooms, offices, etc.
  • Assists in room changes as needed.

As a Laundry Aide you will:

  • Responsible for collecting, cleaning, and redistributing the community laundry
  • Partners with community team to ensure the community is in compliance with OSHA requirements and promotion of Risk Management programs and policies, adherence to safety rules and regulations.
  • Practices safety procedures at all times including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), fire extinguishers, MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) and Lockout Tag out procedures
  • Team members may be exposed to blood and or body fluids with potential exposure to hazardous materials and infectious diseases.
  • Actively participates as a member of a team and is committed to working toward team goals.
  • Laundry is responsible for ensuring that units are stocked with clean linens and personal items are washed/passed out to our residents.
  • Picking up dirty linens, washing, drying, folding.
  • Proper policy and procedures followed.
