Ogletree Deakins has an opportunity for an experienced Government Contracts Attorney to join the firm’s dynamic and long-established practice representing premier local and national employers. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys who are proactive and passionate about assuming a high-level role providing legal service within a sophisticated practice and who are seeking to assume a significant role. This role requires extensive contact with clients, governmental agencies and opposing counsel.
Duties include, but are not limited to, legal research, drafting pleadings, and representing clients in all phases of government procurement claims, and other government-related litigation, as well as advising contractors on government compliance matters.
The right candidate will have a passion for government contracting legal issues, strong analytical and writing skills, and an ability to relate to and inspire confidence with sophisticated business clients.

Benefits:In accordance with California’s amended labor code as stated in Senate Bill 1162, the expected salary range for this California position is between $287,500 and $300,000. In accordance with the Wage Transparency Omnibus Amendment Act, the expected salary range for this DC position is between $262,500 and $275,000. In accordance with Maryland’s Equal Pay for Equal Work-Wage Range Transparency Law, the expected salary range for this Baltimore position is between $230,000 and $240,000. In accordance with Massachusetts Frances Perkins Workplace Equity Act, the expected salary range for this Massachusetts position is between $262,500 and $275,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. This position qualifies for the benefits below.
