Job Title: Fulfillment Operator
Location: Rochester, NY
Summary: We are seeking a Fulfillment Operator (Lv. 1) on behalf of one of our trusted clients. This role supports warehouse operations by completing customer orders through picking, packing, and metering tasks. Candidates must be detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable using technology in a fast-paced environment. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering full-time hours, a consistent day shift, and great potential for growth.

Core Duties & Responsibilities
Picking:
Use handheld scanners to receive and process work assignments.
Walk warehouse floor to pick items from designated locations.
Deliver picked items to the packing area for processing.
Operate WAVE equipment (upon certification).
Packing & Metering:
Handle items picked from the warehouse and prepare orders for shipment.
Use a computer and order management web application to process and meter shipments.
Place correct items in boxes, seal, and label for shipment.
Add literature or packing materials when required.
General Responsibilities:
Follow all work instructions, policies, and safety procedures.
Meet individual productivity and quality standards.
Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to 5S principles.
Report equipment issues, material shortages, or hazards to leadership.
Support other operational duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or GED.
1 year of experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment preferred.
Able to follow order instructions, labels, and safety materials.
Introductory computer skills preferred.
Ability to lift/move up to 25lbs regularly
Willing to push, pull, bend, squat, and reach throughout the shift.
Able to learn and work across multiple customer fulfillment processes
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
Regular exposure to moving machinery, occasional high places, airborne particles, and vibration.
Moderate noise level consistent with a warehouse environment.
Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and equipment use.
