We are working with an early-stage startup backed by top-tier investors, including a notable tech leader who, after seeing the product, chose to skip the pre-seed stage and lead an oversubscribed $6M seed round. The company is building the next generation of autonomous security systems powered by LLMs, helping security teams focus on high-impact tasks while automating the tedious and time-consuming aspects of threat response. Unlike most seed-stage startups, this company has already established strong early product-market fit and has significant inbound customer traction. Now, they are looking for world-class engineers to help scale from a fast-moving startup into an industry-defining company. Think of this as the next Abnormal or RAD - in terms of the entire security suite. The founders are Stanford & Berkeley alums and already have one startup under their belt. The Role The company is hiring across multiple engineering disciplines: • Backend Engineers – Responsible for building and optimizing high-performance distributed systems. • Infra/ML Engineers – Focused on architecting scalable infrastructure and integrating cutting-edge LLMs. • Frontend or FS Engineers – Developing intuitive user experiences for security teams. As an early engineering hire, this role offers significant ownership in shaping the core technology and infrastructure. Engineers will work closely with the founding team and a top-tier technical group to build systems that redefine how enterprises defend against cyber threats. Tech Stack • Backend: Golang • Frontend: TypeScript, Next.js, React • Database & ORM: Prisma • AI/ML: Various LLMs and tools Strong engineering fundamentals are valued over specific tech stack experience. The team is looking for exceptional engineers who can learn quickly and build with speed and quality. Qualifications • 1 to 8+ years of experience in backend, fullstack, or infrastructure engineering (open to speaking with brilliant fresh grads, but the main focus is senior to staff level). • If backend, deep expertise in distributed systems, infrastructure, or security is a plus. • Strong problem-solving skills and a builder’s mindset—comfortable moving fast and iterating. • Passion for cybersecurity, automation, and AI-driven systems.
