Job Description

A Covington company needs a 1st shift, Flexographic Printing Press Technician @ $22 per hour. The full time Printing Press tech will set-up and operate a high speed flexographic printing press.

~Four 10 hour shifts with a three day weekend~

Duties:

Set up, operate, and maintain a Central Impression (CI), Flexographic Printing Press.
Monitor feeding, printing and racking processes.
Detect malfunctions and make adjustments as necessary.
Blend and test inks, stains and solvents to work order specs.
Mounting plates, installing print cylinders and installing/adjusting dies.
Monitor print jobs to ensure quality and consistency
Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment
Troubleshoot and resolve printing issues as they arise
Ensure proper color management and ink distribution

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
A Valid Driver’s License
Your own Transportation
Able to Pass a 10 Panel Employment Drug Screen, Saliva or Urinalysis
A Solid Work History
A Clean Background with NO Felony Conviction
Previous experience operating a CI Flexographic Printing Press.
Knowledge of color management, typography, and layout design
Experience with screen printing or machining is advantageous
Graphic Design Certification a PLUS
