Job Title: Fiber Technician

We are representing a leading telecom client in search of a skilled Fiber Technician in Houston, TX . If you have a strong background in fiber splicing, RF, DAS, and coax, along with hands-on experience in construction and building projects, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Splice and terminate fiber optic cables efficiently and accurately.
• Work with RF, DAS, and coax systems in building environments.
• Install and maintain DAS systems within commercial and industrial buildings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project documentation.
• Work as part of a construction crew , preferably with experience leading a team or running job sites.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and meet industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair fiber optic networks as needed.

Requirements:

• Must be located in Houston, TX .
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred .
• Proven experience in fiber splicing and working with RF, DAS, and coax .
• Strong understanding of DAS and in-building wireless systems .
• Hands-on experience in construction environments , with a preference for those who have led crews or projects.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
