Seventh Sense Consulting seeks an Executive Support and Travel Coordinator to join our team supporting. NIH Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC). This position is located at the Client Site in Rockville, MD.
Hiring Timeframe: Immediate
Work Location: This position is onsite 5 days/week in Rockville, MD. Seventh Sense will support your commute by contributing over $1,500 annually to your Transportation FSA.
What You'll Do - Support the director, deputy director, and other supervisors and team leads with day-to-day administrative support.
- Manage the director’s calendar and communications.
- Perform special projects and tasks that promote integration across functional areas.
- Schedule travel for NITAAC Director and other federal staff supporting trainings and trade shows. Work with government travel agency to book flights, book hotel rooms and rental cars and create travel orders and vouchers in accordance with the federal travel regulations (FTR) and NIH travel policy. Use the federal government travel system to receive both types of travel orders/travel authorizations..
- Provide agent assisted support for all aspects of official travel and travel management with processes and procedures consistent with applicable travel regulations and policies, as well as transitional implementation and ongoing account management services, training and reporting.
- Verify that authorizations are in place for every travel request before the purchase of any passenger tickets. Create travel vouchers within two days of submission of receipts.
- Create and implement standard operating procedures related to travel and other management areas.
Must Haves - BA/BS degree and 2+ years of experience -or- HS Diploma with 6+ years of experience.
- Must possess knowledge of the Federal Travel Regulations.
- In-depth knowledge of MS Office suite, SharePoint.
- Strong communication skills with customers, employees and contract holders.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Superior interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact in a professional manner with government managers and teammates during periods of high stress and tight deadlines.
- Well-developed verbal communication and organizational skills.
Salary Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 per year. This range reflects factors such as geographic location, skills, experience, training, certifications, contract-specific affordability, and organizational needs.
