Dick's Sporting Goods are seeking a Director of Platform Engineering to lead and scale their platform engineering organization, empowering teams across the company to build, deploy, and operate high-quality software efficiently. This role is responsible for driving the strategy, execution, and evolution of their core engineering platforms, ensuring they are reliable, scalable, and developer-friendly.
The Director of Platform Engineering will lead Database Engineering, Network Engineering, Azure & Kubernetes Engineering, Developer Experience, and Shared & Integrated Services. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a passion for platform engineering, and a track record of building highly effective teams.
