Director of Nursing (DON) – Long Term Care

A Director of Nursing (DON) – Long Term Care is needed in Prairie City, OR.

Salary and Benefits

• The salary range is $93,000 - $140,000 Based on Experience
• Retention Bonus: $20,000

Responsibilities

• Flexible Schedule: Generally Monday-Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• 90% Onsite Required
• Must be available to cover floor shifts during daytimes, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Presides over a 40-bed Unit, with a current average census of 12-15 occupants.
• EMR: PointClickCare
• Reports directly to the facility Administrator
• Supervises all nursing staff, RCM, RA, and Activities departments.
• Oversees nursing operations, ensuring compliance with standards, regulations, and performance improvement.
• Manages staff competency, budget, and CQI efforts.

Requirements

• Current And Active License in the State of Oregon or the Ability to Obtain
• Registered Nurse (RN)

• BSN Required / MSN Preferred
• 6 Months in a Long Term Care Environment
• Experience with Geriatrics
• Leadership Experience or Demonstrated Leadership Abilities
