Position Search: Director of Music Christ the King Parish announces an opening for a Director of Music. In consultation with the Pastor and the Director of Parish Life, the Director of Music facilitates the development of music for worship at our parish through the Music Ministry. The Director is responsible for the effective planning, coordination and execution of the music within the liturgical celebrations of the parish and other parish programs such as Alpha, Retreats and Leadership Summits. This position also works with organists; cantors; adult, children, handbell and consolation choirs; the praise and worship group; the "Wandering Souls" jam group; in addition to other musicians. The director is supported by the Coordinator of Liturgy and collaborates closely with clergy and parish staff.
