Creative Director - Pharma

We are seeking a Creative Director to support our cosmetic pharmaceutical client at SPCSHP. The Creative Director will excel in the art of storytelling, design and solving complex creative challenges to be a partner and brilliant collaborator with cross-functional leaders, guiding teams to their best work.

Role + Responsibilities:

  • Provides overall thought-leadership for clients in the area of creative solutions
  • Presents creative to clients, and manage feedback and expectations
  • Ability to bring strong conceptual ideas that are strategically correct, on brief and mindful of FDA regulations
  • Provides proactive contributions to the client’s business, demonstrating best-in-class campaigns 
  • Drives collaboration with mainline and marketing objectives to ensure an integrated, synergistic creative approach
  • Monitors all project milestones, deliverables, and risks to account leaders and senior management, communicating progress, issues, and accomplishments
  • Works with Account leads to secure and drive new initiatives for clients
  • Oversees flawless delivery of creative deliverables in progress and the final product
  • Prepares and delivers presentations representing the creative with in-depth knowledge of why choices are being made
  • Supervises supports and inspires creative leadership throughout the agency
  • Accurately communicates team’s efforts internally / externally and reward success within the team

Requirements

  • A minimum of 8-10 years’ experience managing and mentoring teams and working as a creative with a focus on pharma at advertising/digital/full service agencies 
  • Strong creative portfolio and knowledge of FDA regulations
  • Strong client experience including the ability to present agency work and manage client feedback 
  • The proven ability to collaborate, with each other and with colleagues across disciplines
  • Experience providing leadership across disciplines and engagements
  • Be an excellent communicator — not only to our clients but within the agency with respect to speaking up or delivering constructive feedback
  • Strong strategic and conceptual abilities

Benefits

The salary band for this role is $170-205k. Where a prospective new hire's base salary will fall within this band depends on several factors including their qualifications and experience, the skill level required in the role, market rates, and the salaries of existing crew members at SPCSHP within the same role to maintain equity.
