Job Description

Title: Corporate Human Resources Manager

Location: Orange County, CA (Hybrid 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Job Duties:

  • At least 10 years’ experience in HR, at least 3 years in a supervisory position
  • Experience in mid-size large companies with at least 500 employees
  • Able to work with cross functional teams and parent companies
  • Must have and demonstrate excellent communication skills: written and spoken
  • Will need to be able to communicate with executives and all levels of organization
  • Able to do presentations and training
  • Good analytical skills. Will need to be able to prepare payroll reports, analyze variances, etc.
  • While will not process payroll, will need to be able to back up payroll process 100%
  • Good understanding of compensation strategies, methodologies and policies
  • Excellent skills in HR Information Systems, preferably ADP, ADP’s functionalities beyond payroll
  • Will need to be able to prepare payroll reports, analyze variances

Manages the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource office. Manages the administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programs. Carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: departmental development, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), employee relations and counseling, training and development, benefits, compensation, organizational development, and employment.

  • Recruiting, interviewing and staffing
  • Payroll responsibility: full administration of compensation and benefits administration
  • Employment and compliance to regulatory concerns
  • Employee orientation, development, and training
  • HR policy development and documentation
  • HR Information Systems administration and improvement projects
  • Employee relations, services and counseling
  • Company-wide committee facilitation for major employee and corporate responsibility activities
  • Company employee and community involvement
  • Employee safety, welfare, wellness and health
  • Supervisory Responsibilities (If applicable) Directly supervises up to 5 employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience:

B.A. / Master's degree (M. B. A.) / HR or equivalent degree and / or certification. No less than ten years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
