Contract-to-Hire Associate Attorney (Family Law & Probate)

Location: Denver, CO

Schedule: Hybrid - primarily in-office with some remote flexibility

Type: Contract-to-Hire

About the Role:

We're looking for a licensed Colorado attorney to join a growing legal team on a contract-to-hire basis. The role centers on family law cases with the opportunity to expand into probate and related matters.

Responsibilities:

• Manage 25-40 active cases at a time
• Draft motions, pleadings, and other legal filings
• Represent clients at hearings, mediations, and conferences
• Advise clients on divorce, guardianship, spousal support, and related issues
• Conduct legal research and contribute to case strategy
• Work independently while also collaborating with colleagues on complex cases

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in Colorado (required)
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• 2-5 years of litigation experience, preferably including family law and probate
  • Will train on practice areas IF you have an active CO attorney license and have some experience practicing law
• Strong courtroom, writing, and client communication skills
• Organized and able to manage a fast-paced caseload
• Personal injury experience a plus

Hourly: $38.46-$48.07/hr.

Permanent Salary: $80-$100k/yr.
