Way Mechanical is a leading Mechanical Contractor with locations in Nashville, Austin, San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, Raleigh and Charlotte. We specialize in commercial air conditioning, plumbing, piping, and system maintenance. Our expertise includes design-build, design-assist, preconstruction, commissioning, building information modeling (BIM), and quality control.

We are seeking motivated College Interns to gain hands-on experience in Construction Management, Project Coordination, HVAC and Mechanical Installation. This internship offers a unique opportunity to rotate through key departments in Field Operations, working alongside experienced professionals to develop practical skills and industry knowledge.

What You’ll Gain :

• Field Experience – Shadow Journeyman and assist in mechanical system installations.
• Project Coordination Exposure – Work with Project Managers and Superintendents to track project progress, manage documents, and ensure quality standards.
• Industry insight – Learn about cost management, scheduling, and compliance in commercial construction.

Who We’re Looking For :

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Junior/Senior preferred).
• Strong interest in mechanical contracting, construction project management, or HVAC systems.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with a go-getter attitude.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and eager to learn project management software.

Internship Responsibilities :

• Assist in fieldwork to understand HVAC ductwork and mechanical installations.
• Support Project Managers and Superintendents in tracking project progress and managing documentation.
• Help ensure compliance with project specifications, schedules, and budgets.
• Participate in team meetings, site visits, and vendor/client coordination.
