Job Description

Position Summary

Join a dynamic, patient-focused team where your role will be key in delivering excellent service in a fast-paced, high-volume call center. You'll assist patients, healthcare providers, and community partners with information about services, triage, appointment scheduling, and other patient-related requests, following established protocols and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
Answer and manage incoming calls efficiently, ensuring you meet the required service standards.
Provide callers with helpful, accurate, and complete information.
Address online appointment requests as assigned.
Complete end-of-day processes to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain regular, punctual attendance in line with company policies and standards.
Follow all internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
Perform other duties as needed to support the team and the overall patient experience.

Additional Responsibilities
Maintain an organized and clean work area.
Assist in managing clinical supplies to ensure the workspace is well-equipped.
Education and Training

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience and Qualifications

At least two (2) years of relevant experience in a customer service or high-volume call center environment. This could include clerical work, call center experience (handling 200+ calls daily), physician office experience, insurance billing, or similar healthcare roles.
An additional year of experience in a clinical setting (e.g., CMA, MA, CNA), or in healthcare or hospitality industries with a concierge-style service model is preferred.
A working knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
Strong general computer skills, including experience with various software applications and systems.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to handle stress and effectively manage critical or unusual situations.
Strong multitasking skills, with a focus on providing top-notch patient care while making thoughtful decisions based on experience and judgment.
