Billing Manager – Healthcare

$75,000 – $90,000

Are you a seasoned billing professional ready to lead with impact? We’re looking for a highly organized and detail-driven Billing Manager to take charge of billing operations at a dynamic and rapidly expanding healthcare group.

In this key leadership role, you’ll oversee end-to-end billing processes, manage and mentor a dedicated team, and ensure compliance with evolving healthcare regulations. You'll play a critical role in driving accuracy , efficiency , and innovation in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the billing department, ensuring accurate and timely claims processing
• Train, mentor, and supervise billing staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment
• Communicate effectively with insurance providers, patients, and internal departments regarding billing issues and resolutions
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies related to billing and reimbursement
• Prepare financial reports and track performance metrics for billing operations
• Provide guidance on complex billing and coding issues, working to ensure reimbursement maximization
• Review and resolve accounts receivable issues, ensuring timely payment from insurance carriers and patients
• Stay updated on healthcare billing regulations, insurance policies, and coding practices
• Coordinate with management to develop and implement improvements to billing procedures and practices
• Conduct regular audits to ensure billing accuracy and compliance

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in medical billing
• At least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role
• Bachelors degree preferred
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10 coding, and insurance reimbursement processes
• Certification in Medical Billing or Coding is a plus!
