Job Description

JustinBradley's client, a global media and streaming leader, is seeking a visionary and dynamic Art Director with a deep passion for storytelling, design, and brand-building to join their Gaming division. As the Art Director, you will be responsible for leading and driving the creative vision for marketing campaigns, user acquisition efforts, and social media initiatives. You will work closely with designers, motion artists, editors, and cross-functional teams to develop and execute innovative and high-impact creative assets across digital, social, print, and motion graphics. Key Responsibilities:

  • Creative Leadership: Develop and direct the creative vision for digital, social, print, and motion graphics projects across multiple platforms.
  • Team Management: Lead and inspire a team of designers and motion artists, providing clear creative guidance, constructive feedback, and fostering professional development.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, user acquisition, and social media teams to conceptualize and execute visually compelling campaigns that engage and resonate with audiences.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure consistent branding, messaging, and visual identity across all creative assets, aligning with the brand’s identity and business goals.
  • Creative Review: Review and refine creative work, ensuring that strategic objectives are met while maintaining innovative, high-quality execution.
  • Project Alignment: Collaborate with project managers to ensure creative production aligns with project timelines, deliverables, and overall business goals.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay ahead of design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to continuously elevate the creative output of the team.
  • Presentations: Present creative concepts and strategies to key stakeholders, effectively communicating the vision and rationale behind design decisions.
  • Asset Creation: Oversee the creation and adaptation of assets for various formats, including digital ads, social media content, key art, motion graphics, and promotional materials.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior designers and creative teams, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and creative excellence.

Must-Have Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7-10+ years of experience using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects. Portfolio required to demonstrate expertise.
  • Demonstrated ability to elevate creative quality across various projects (3-4+ years of experience in a leadership capacity).
  • Strong experience in communicating design concepts with cross-functional teams, including marketing, acquisition, and social media (5-7+ years).
  • Ability to balance creativity with strategic business objectives, ensuring all creative work serves the larger goals of the company and its brands.
  • Familiarity with game capture techniques or experience working in the gaming industry is a plus.
