Accounts Receivable Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join our finance team. The Accounts Receivable Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, and reconciliation of accounts. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and a proven track record of driving results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the supervision of accounts receivable professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure team effectiveness and productivity.
  • Generate or review customer invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts receivable balances, investigate and resolve discrepancies, and prepare reports and analysis as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and professional staff, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve accounts receivable processes and procedures to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and strengthen internal controls.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies, and support internal and external audits as needed.
  • Work on special projects when assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, required. Associate Degree or Bachelor's degree, preferred.
  • Four (4) or more years' experience in accounts receivable/billing department.

Software:

  • Familiarity with any ERP financial systems (QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Possesses superior customer service skills.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Experience in the professional services industry preferred.

Pay: $68,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
